Looking back at ITS Seville 2025 : towards smart, sustainable and interoperable mobility

Last week, the 2025 edition of the ITS Europe conference was held in Seville. A must-see event dedicated to intelligent transport systems and digital solutions for sustainable mobility. We had the pleasure of actively participating alongside numerous international experts. It was an opportunity to discuss the technological innovations shaping the city of tomorrow.

This exhibition allowed us to participate in numerous sessions highlighting the importance of data interoperability and local digital twins. In order to successfully achieve the sustainable transformation of urban areas in Europe :

  • SENSE Project : a concrete application of a local digital twin in Cartagena. Here, artificial intelligence enabled the creation of a low-emission zone without negatively impacting mobility.
  • 3DxVERSE : demonstration of the positive impact of digital twins on the efficiency of urban transport systems.
  • AIAMO – Artificial Intelligence and Mobility : a project based on Leibniz’s urban data for sustainable planning.
  • eFTI4ALL : (presented by our president, André Perpey): focus on cross-border control of data relating to freight and dangerous materials between France and Germany.

A shared vision for the city of tomorrow

These discussions underscored a powerful message : the future of mobility relies on interoperable and ethical digital infrastructure. By integrating technologies such as digital twins, artificial intelligence, and V2X communication, we are actively contributing to building cleaner, more connected, and more resilient cities.
