Handrail
The Handrail module allows an officer to perform all actions related to patrol activity on a predefined or free patrol circuit. Our mobile, touch-sensitive interface allows :
- To record your patrols in a clear and coherent manner,
- To enter the anomalies observed: all the road defects that you have configured (e.g.: pothole, guardrail, lamp post, etc.),
- To manage their life cycle and geolocate them using precise and customisable mapping,
- To computerise all actions related to this module (pause, calls received, calls made, event creation, modification, closing, free comment, end of service, checkpoint, etc.),
- To go on intervention and automatically switch to the Emergency Intervention module to pause the patrol.
It also offers the possibility of using a configurable and scalable event grid as well as dashboards for optimal use of your road network.
The PRISM Handrail replaces the paper logbook. It allows you to provide evidence in the event of a legal dispute (particularly before the courts). This is a real advantage for you.

On PRISM Central, we offer our handrail management tool. You will have access to all user actions sorted by date.
And you can, for example :
- In the event of a dispute, check that an axis has been processed at a given time.
- Export the log of all users over a given period
- Print this one for each agent
Since the agent doesn’t necessarily have time to stop, PRISM allows you to record an event in just two clicks and a few seconds. Only the GPS location is recorded, but it’s possible to complete the information later, either on the tablet or on PRISM Central.
