V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) technology is an advanced communication technology that allows connected vehicles to exchange data in real time with their surroundings: other vehicles (V2V), road infrastructure (V2I), and pedestrians (V2P).

It is an integral part of Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS), which are increasingly important in the transportation sector.

Web platform

Our C-ITS platform brings together all the features needed to configure, maintain, monitor, and operate NeoGLS ITS stations. It is the heart of the deployed system because it interconnects RSUs with the manager’s data. It allows for the detailed management of use cases through clear and intuitive graphical interfaces.

Supported use cases

V2X technology enables the implementation of numerous use cases that meet several objectives.

In terms of road safety, these services significantly help reduce the risk of accidents by informing drivers in real time of hazards along their route. Each alert allows drivers to react quickly. These use cases also strengthen the protection of the most vulnerable road users, particularly near schools and in 30 km/h zones, by broadcasting clear and contextualised messages.

From a smart mobility perspective, these use cases allow drivers to anticipate their travel choices thanks to better real-time information. Furthermore, they facilitate decision-making and the automatic addition of a parking location to the navigation route, for example. By integrating these on-board services, vehicles become more responsive, better connected to infrastructure, and contribute to smoother traffic flow.

Finally, these solutions are part of a sustainable and inclusive mobility approach. By encouraging the use of park-and-ride facilities and reducing detours due to a lack of information or unanticipated incidents, they contribute to reducing polluting emissions and improving traffic flow. These intelligent systems, designed for all types of users and adapted to urban and interurban environments, address major environmental, economic, and societal challenges.

V2X equipment

We offer complete equipment that is easily adaptable to a wide variety of road infrastructure and on-board systems. We design RSU (Road Side Units) and OBU (On-Board Units), as well as numerous optional accessories.

Our accessories and optional modules (power supplies, antennas, sensors, mounting brackets, etc.) adapt to our equipment to meet specific use cases.

Our two units are modular, scalable, and interoperable, making them compatible with various urban and interurban environments. They enable secure communication via V2X technology.

On-board apps

Our experience in developing on-board C-ITS applications allows us to offer a wide range of use cases. Furthermore, we target several user categories: road workers, the general public, public and private transport drivers, research centres, and demonstration sites.

Our applications are designed to be modular, scalable, and innovative. They include most C-ITS use cases and are constantly evolving to stay at the forefront. Our expertise in on-board technologies allows us to offer most of our applications on Android and iOS platforms.

Security

Communication security is an important requirement for C-ITS to become a key element of transportation.

This security apply to message exchanges with vehicles, communications between field equipment and servers, and server-to-server communications. It also concerns the integrity of the equipment (field and servers) themselves.

NeoGLS takes each of these aspects into account and offers advanced solutions to address them.

Network and hosting

Integrating C-ITS equipment into field networks that aren’t always designed for this purpose can be complex. We can assist you by offering a variety of network architecture, either partially integrated into your existing architecture (via VPN implementation or other), or by completely outsourcing the system.
